May 10th – Today is Mothers Day in Canada and definitely the Phillipines! I’ve been fortunate to travel several times with my mom to Mexico, Hawaii, Las Vegas and Alaska. We are both travelling again, and while we are not travelling together this year, she is certainly in my thoughts today as always.
My niece in the UK is also expecting her first child in early September (I hope that’s right!). My thoughts are also with her, experiencing her first pregnancy and mothers day as a mother!
I was also fortunate to recieve a wonderful video from good friends of mine, sharing their new grandson Wesley sleeping in the bassinet my grandfather made and my own two boys slept in when they were born.
Today on Mothers Day I find myself quite emotional and contemplative. I wish all the mothers in my life a very Happy Mothers Day! Much love to you all.
