Cebu Cocktail Bars

I have been in bed early since arriving in the Philippines, so on my last night in Cebu, I thought I should put in a little effort and go experience the night life.

First stop was a brewery, about 20 minute walk from my condo.
Goood selection of beer. The clientele were mostly Korean and Saudi’s who were spending 4-6 months learning english. The tap room was a 20′ shipping container and the brew room was the same. Outside seating area with a great Mexican food truck.
Next stop was the Glassroom Bar. The 22 year-old bartender was a magician. Really great drinks. There were only a handful of people in here, it was a quite chill place. He suggested my next two stops.
Don’t recall what it was called, was his signature drink and not on the menu, but it was a citrus drink with egg white foam. Dangerously good.
I then walked to Verified Rooftop Lounge. It was quite busy and obviously had a great view over the city. I believe the building on the right is the casino.
I tried walking to my last stop, but a guy insisted to give me a ride on his motorbike there, so I hoped on, no helmet and he drove me through crazy traffic to the Lost Unicorn, a speakeasy that was remarkable hard to find. I had to first enter a closed restaurant located in the bottom of an office building and find a bookcase which pushed open to the bar.
The smoke really adds an element to the drink! Again, bartenders signature drink, not on the menu, by this time I was definately not remembering what it was called.

  1. Looks like an awesome night out! Love the look of that nano-brewery in a container.
