Diving at Apo Island

May 31st – Picked up Chin on the scooter at 6am for the drive to Dauin. Traffic was non-exisitant, so it only took us 30 minutes. The dive shop made us breakfast and Chin was outfitted with her gear for the day. We met our guide Vincent and loaded up 10 tanks for the three dives into the truck to shuttle us to the boat. Was a full day, arrived back in Dumaguete at 4pm.

AivyMaes Divers Dauin. Great little dive resort with cabins on the beach, really friendly owners.
Our dive boat Fantasea! Very fitting.
Apo Island in the distance, leaving from Dauin.
Chin trying to eat her lunch. The wind was blowing the food off our utensils before we could get in our mouths. I ended up eating with my fingers. Vincent our dive guide sitting on the left.
FInished two awesome dives at Largahan and Rock Point East. Storm blew in so we took refuge on the leeward side waiting for the winds to settle.
Wall of rain over Dumaguete as we head back. Ended up doing our third dive back in Dauin at Masaplod South, a muck dive but nice to see the different aquatic life.
